This portfolio uses a restrained editorial system: warm neutrals, cobalt accents, oversized type, a consistent grid, and motion that supports orientation rather than competing for attention.
The system was designed with taste and judgment, then built and refined with AI. Every generated choice remained subject to human review, accessibility, and the needs of the content.

Use quiet structure and deliberate emphasis.

Semantic tokens, shared components, and one grid keep pages coherent.
Use movement to preserve context.
Transitions introduce, connect, and orient. They never delay the work.
Color
Use warm neutrals with cobalt for interaction and emphasis.
Color is semantic rather than ornamental. Neutrals support long-form reading. Cobalt marks emphasis and interaction. The palette responds automatically to the visitor’s light or dark preference.

Grid and rhythm
A twelve-column grid with a small set of consistent alignments.
The grid creates continuity across very different stories. Content typically begins at column one or five, while a limited spacing scale controls vertical rhythm from metadata to full-page transitions.

Interaction
Make interactive elements unmistakable.
Links remain recognizable, calls to action become buttons, and every interactive target has a visible focus state and a minimum comfortable size.
Motion
Use subtle directional motion and respect visitor preferences.
Content enters with restrained opacity and position changes. Page transitions reduce the jolt between stories, while artifact carousels preserve directional context. The system disables nonessential motion when a visitor requests reduced motion.
Accessibility
Build accessibility into the system from the start.
